Inflation WARNING

NO hype when I say that inflation is here, it’s rising… and quickly! (See below for complimentary downloads)
Confidence in the US dollar is falling, like a manhole cover from the sky. This ‘fear of holding fiat currency’ is spreading globally and Australians too are looking for alternatives to cash.
If you haven’t noticed I’d say it’s more of a case that you’re just not paying attention!
According to fortune.com on March 20, 2021, the price of lumber in the USA (timer used to build houses) is up 188% on prices from just 12 months ago.

“The National Association of Home Builders calculates that current lumber prices are adding at least $24,000 to the price tag of a typical new single-family home”.

While this news is from the USA, the impact of supply shortages (of timber and many other commodities) will be felt globally.

Cost Of Building Materials Are Up Following Pandemic, Contractors Say It’ll Put Them Out Of Business

Steel prices rose 16.5% between december 2020 and January 2021

Business Insider Australia, reported on March 24, 2021 “The global supply chain is a mess, and a cargo boat blocking the world's second-biggest shipping canal is only making matters worse”

The World Bank reported on March 2, 2021 that “Commodity prices continued to surge in February, with energy commodities jumping 14.3% and non-energy commodities rising 2.5%.
“In January, these groupings rose 10.1% and 4.6%, respectively. Among the major subgroups, agriculture commodities rose 1.1%, fertilizers 20.6%, and metals and minerals 3.6%.”
My opinion (i.e. not advice) is that hard assets will be the BIG winners!


Holding Hard Assets + Exponential Growth = Wealth Creation


I tip the big winners will be those who hold (store their wealth in):

  1. Real estate - because land is a finite commodity and is in short supply
  2. Precious metals - i.e. the physical metal, NOT contracts (these will soon default)
  3. Certain (select) cryptos - most are rubbish and won’t survive coming regulations
